WeldFab guarantees that everything we make is subject to a thorough quality assurance process. To ensure every product passes stringent quality requirements, parts are inspected at multiple quality control checkpoints throughout the manufacturing process. WeldFab always applies best practices in First Article Inspections, Production Part Approval Processes, and Initial Sample Inspection Reports. Furthermore, all of our employees and suppliers are constantly working to improve the quality control process to achieve superior customer satisfaction.

When you work with us, we start the quality control process from the very beginning of the project. We want to be sure we can produce the part as designed with no surprises, so we employ advanced software, such as Solidworks, to simulate how the product will turn out with current tooling. In this way, we are able to play out the manufacturing process during the RFQ to prevent potential problems. Once the production process begins, we utilize our Romer Arm and Virtek Laser QC (continually calibrated to NIST standards) at multiple points to ensure quality with real-time modeling and detailed inspection reports.

Using our end to end QC process, WeldFab is able to:

  • Offer ideas on fabricating complex parts with less machinery to gain efficiencies by reducing total processing/handling time.
  • Find alternatives to materials or hardware that aren’t readily available.
  • Offer ideas for nesting parts together on sheet metal to gain production efficiencies.
  • Determine and acquire any necessary custom tooling beforehand, to reduce unforeseen complications and slowdowns.
